Why remember your essence?
Why delve into who you are?
Why explore self-love?
All these questions are related. All these questions we ask ourselves when we begin to awaken from the veil of unconsciousness and begin to recognize our divine potential. All these are clues to our finding our inner peace, happiness and a profound way of being.
The journey of remembering your essence is fascinating. What you learned as a child, what you experienced in your culture, in your world, may not have mirrored your miraculous self.
I’ve be traveling on this journey of remembering.
Growing up my Mom repeatedly said to me, “Teri, you are more than you know.” These comments she made as she observed me when I intuitively could read people and offer them kindnesses when I would empathetically see a situation and stand up for an individual being misunderstood. When someone would treat me badly and I would choose to be gracious. These innate behaviors occurred naturally, without even thinking ahead, planning or anticipating a reaction – they just happened and needed to happen. And they usually happen in a millisecond and can be easily missed. Had my Mom not commented, I would have missed it completely.
I’d look at my Mom, wrinkle my nose and on one level didn’t know what she was talking about. But on a deeper level I felt secret gratitude for being seen wondering and hoping…could she be right?
I doubted it was actually special. It felt so much like breathing that it didn’t warrant comment. But in truth, it did. And so does your essence.
Each of us has an internal compass, an ability to have a knowing.
Because it occurs so naturally, without our thinking anything about it, we may not realize its gift. We don’t recognize our service to the Universe.
The reality is when we are fully engage with our essence something shifts within us. When we fully see our light and true selves, we ignite our intuition. We then co-create with others in a collaboration that inspires. We enter the flow of life and our ability to see, feel, and be, influences our own self-love, our relationships, our partnerships, our work world, our global connections.
